At the Imperial Carriage Museum in the magnificent Schönbrunn Palace, you can experience Empress Sisi more closely than anywhere else. Discover fascinating original objects from her life: the famous court dress with the “Viennese wasp waist”, her personal riding saddle, and the splendid wedding carriage. One particularly emotional exhibit is the mysterious “Mystery Dress” – a gown from the young Empress’s personal bridal trousseau.
